ABOUT THE MODELING & SIMULATION RESEARCH & EDUCATION CENTER (MSREC)

MISSION STATEMENT

MSREC's mission is to create and support cross-displinary research and development activities, including researchers in core M & S areas, supporting technologies, and innovative applications. It will develop and maintain education programs to train M & S practioners, educators and researchers.

OBJECTIVES

	Create national and international recognition of Georgia Tech for world-class interdisciplinary research in modeling and simulation as evidenced through high quality technical publications, products, educational programs, and impact real world M & S programs and initiatives
	Develop and transfer new technologies and products such as distributed simulation software, models, and tools in targeted application areas into the commercial sector
	Increase the supply of trained M & S practitioners by at least 100 graduates per year over the next five years through academic and continuing education programs.
